There’s no debate or doubt concerning my favorite cookie on planet Earth. Just FYI or for future reference, any kind that contains chocolate in any form – chips, chunks, dipped, cocoa, kisses.
To be honest, I had no knowledge about crinkle cookies whatsoever up until November 2017. I just didn’t know there existed something called “crinkle” cookies. While participating in holiday cookie contests on Instagram, I came across these ugly yet adorable and scrumptious looking cookies and all I wanted to do was hop inside my mobile screen, grab a handful and stuff them in my face. The rest was involuntary.
I adapted the recipe from WhatsGabyCooking . I used half of all the ingredients to yield a smaller batch. I adore Gaby and her amazing food. Here’s the recipe I made and I really hope you whip up a batch to dunk them in milk and demolish till the last crumb.

- 1 cup sugar
- 1 and half tsp vanilla extract
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup powdered sugar

- Whisk together flour, baking powder, salt in a bowl.
- In the bowl of a stand mixer with a paddle attachment, mix together cocoa, granulated sugar, vanilla and oil. Crack open the eggs and mix to combine properly.
- Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 3 hour. Preheat oven to 350F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Using a small ice cream scoop, scoop out the dough and roll into a ball between your palms. Toss the dough ball in powdered sugar to coat thoroughly. Arrange on baking sheet. Repeat until the dough is used up.
- Bake the cookies in preheated oven. After baking, cool them completely on a wire rack.
- Serve with a glass of milk.
These look so good.
